Vegan Ashwagandha Smoothie Recipe
Ashwagandha: This powerful flower has been used in anti depressant drugs and even tranquilizers for a long time now. Ashwagandha helps reduce body’s cortisol (stress hormone) levels and thus helping calm mind. It is also a natural adaptogen and proves to be relaxing.
Especially if you are having trouble falling asleep, this hot drink will work on helping balance your sleep cycle.
- 1 tbps ashwagandha
- 1 cup almond mylk
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp turmeric
- ½ tsp nutmeg powder
- 1 tbps maple syrup (or date syrup)
