Vegan Mozzarella Recipe
- 1 cup cashews, soaked for 2 hours
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tbsp nutritional yeast
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp finely chopped garlic
- 3 tbsp tapioca starch
- 2 cups water with 15-20 ice cubes
Soak cashews overnight or in hot water for 20 minutes.
Blend cashews and water till it reaches a thick consistency.
Add in nutritional yeast, ACV, garlic and tapioca starch.
Blend till all the ingredients are well combined.
Transfer the paste to a pre heated pan and saute till the paste thickens.
Scoop small portions of the cheese and rest them in the ice water.
Transfer this to the refrigerator and store unto 6 days.
