Vegan Mango Pineapple Smoothie Recipe
Mango: Also known as the ‘king of fruits’ and with good reason! Long said myth that fruits are bad for patients with diabetes is now slowly changing. Mango’s particularly have been shown by multiple studies to reduce diabetes. The fiber content in mangoes acts to clear up blood vassals from deposits of fat cells and fatty acids, thus aiding in the absorption of blood sugar into the body better.
Especially when seasonal, I highly recommend making this smoothie as part of your diet plan.
- 1/2 cup frozen mango chunks
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- ½ scoop vanilla protein powder
- 1/2 tbps coconut butter
- Blend all and enjoy.
