I guarantee after trying this out, you are never going to go back to store-bought sugar filled jars. Nutella is something we always enjoy with a guilt; however, the Vegan Nutella is incredibly wholesome. This one can be shoved into your mouth guilt free with or without attachments.
Hazelnuts are packed with nutrients, including vitamins, minerals, antioxidant compounds and healthy fats.Essentially foods are marketed as healthy foods when the label clearly says that the major weightage in the jar is sugar, processed oils.
Food industry today is incentivised to make us sick and keep pumping more sugar in our bodies. Sugar is the reason we feel hungrier so we buy more of the poisonous foods for our body. Recently, people had to sue Italian company producingNutella because they were positioning Nutella to be a healthy breakfast food, apparently it contains sugar, palm oil and little chocolate. And that’s precisely why I create these recipes. Until food giants get rid of the horrible lies I am here to make world a little better place with True Nutella!
2 cups (240g) roasted hazelnuts
1 tbsp. vanilla extract
4 tbsp. cacao powder
4 tbsp. maple syrup
¼ tsp. salt
2 tsp. coconut oil
½ cup (120ml) hazelnut milk (or almond)
Place the roasted hazelnuts in a high-speed blender and blend until ground to tiny pieces.
Add in the rest of the ingredients and blitz again until smooth. You will need to scrape down the edges a few times during this process. Add in additional milk if required to reach a butter-like texture.
