Here are a few game-changing vegan toast toppings with some delicious sourdough bread. You
will find a favourite whether you like sweet or savoury. Right now, vegan toasts are so popular,
and rightly so, they are simple to make. They are absolutely delicious and super healthy.
However, great toppings also deserve some good vegan bread. That is where sourdough comes
in.
Real sourdough bread is prepared from simple ingredients like a sourdough starter (or wild
yeast), flour, water, and salt. So, the basic sourdough bread is naturally vegan.
Usually, you can use any bread to make toast, but it is highly recommended to pick up a good
quality sourdough loaf. Although, if your sourdough contains preservatives, dough conditioners,
or a label, it is not a big deal. Further, commercial bread made with preservatives and
conditioners can be harder to digest.
Naturally made sourdough is usually made by fermenting naturally occurring yeasts in flour,
which pre-digests the starches. In the final process of bread-making yields, a hearty loaf is
made. One that is crusty on the outside and soft on the inside with a pleasant tanginess.
It will make the sourdough perfect for piling on toppings also. So, without further ado, let’s
move on to the healthy and delicious sourdough toppings.
