Three health documentaries everyone must watch!
Top three documentaries to watch this weekend.
For every new series you start on Netflix, aim to watch a documentary first.
There are some fantastic documentaries on health and fitness out there, and I will explore with you my top three must- watch documentaries that everyone should watch!
These films provide an engaging tale about global warming issue, environmental sustainability, the food production system or the rising health concerns associated with current food habits.
Let’s dive in!
1) Food, Inc.
Food, Inc. is a documentary film made by Robert Kenner and released in 2008. This brilliant film investigated corporate farming in the United States.
We explore how agricultural business generates factory farmed produce that is ecologically destructive in a manner that is cruel to both animals and workers.
The movie ‘Food, Inc.’, which was also nominated for the Oscars, demonstrates how destructive it is to produce meat and dairy in the United States, both environmentally and economically.
One of the purposes of Food, Inc. is to make you think twice about the food you eat. It has also inspired many individuals to attempt plant-based and flexitarian diets, even after a decade of its release.
You can watch Food, Inc. on YouTube, Apple TV, Amazon Prime, and other VOD platforms.
2) The Game Changers
I remember the number of calls from athletes interested to switch to a plant- based diet after the documentary was out.
This is a brilliant film that explores how top notch athletes can not only survive on a plant- centric diet, but thrive on the same.
The Game Changers is a documentary film released in 2018 that advocates for a plant-based diet. The documentary has interviews with scientists and athletes from many professions, success stories of athletes who have embraced plant-based diets and have triumphed in their respective fields with this diet.
This documentary was endorsed by influential professional athletes who have gone plant-based including Jackie Chan, James Cameron and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
The documentary is available for you to watch on Netflix, YouTube, Apple TV, Amazon Prime, and other VOD platforms.
3) What The Health
Another documentary film is What the Health, which was released in 2017 and focuses on how big pharmacy’s manipulate the food industry. Animal rights advocate Kip Andersen and Keegan Kuhn are the brains behind the film.
The documentary also explores secrets to preventing and even reversing lifestyle diseases, something that the billion plus dollar worth health industry does not want you to know. Anderson through this documentary attempt to contact various top health organisations and asks them directly about manipulative practices, but is never given an explanation.
This new documentary tackles various significant problems, including the troubling practice of influential non-profit organisations that receive funds from the meat industry, particularly the cattle sector.
