Want to lose weight but also hate the gym? Read on.
10000 steps a day.
A 2017 study showed that when it comes to losing weight, collecting 10,000 steps a day is just as effective as doing five 30-minute workouts a week.
I was a huge promoter of exercising for at least 9 hours a week with a lot of cardio, but as I grow wiser, I am realising that is far from the truth. It really is not about the number of hours you are at the gym but rather the number of hours you stay active while away from the gym. Watch the first part of the below video to understand more:
Make small changes, like walking while talking on the phone, investing in a standing desk, or taking 10 minutes off your desk every few hours.
Here are a few benefits that could kick in when you get those daily steps
You strengthen your heart.
You store less body fat.
You help stabilize your blood sugar.
You improve your brain's performance
You'll reinforce healthy habits
So invest in a good tracker and start tracking the number of steps you cover per day.
Loving you always,
