Herbs to help you fall asleep fast.

Here are a few things to help fix your circadian cycle.
Lately, I have been falling asleep within a few minutes of lights- off and waking up at least 11 minutes before the alarm rings. This is a sign of being in a good circadian cycle.
If you are struggling to fall asleep though, here are two herbs to help you.
Chamomile:
This white daisy-like flower has been used for centuries for its medicinal properties.
Did you know it also acts as a mild sedative, helping you fall asleep faster. As a bonus, it also boosts gut motility, helping improve your bowl movements.
Sip on a warm cup of chamomile tea or use it in your cooking past 4 pm to help you sleep better.
Note: Avoid chamomile- green tea. Green tea has caffeine and will keep you awake. Try and get organic chamomile flowers only.
Caution: Avoid using this if you are pregnant, use anti-psychotics and struggle with respiratory diseases such as Asthama.
Lemon Balm:
This herb actually belongs to the mint family and has a lemon-like aroma.
Not only is this used for its sedative properties, but also has a fantastic aroma and often used in skincare products.
Lemon balm has been widely studied to relieve pain, anxiety, and insomnia for menopausal women.
Note: Avoid this if you are on blood thinners or have been diagnosed with hypothyroidism. Besides this, you can enjoy a cup of lemon balm tea or even take the supplemental form (250 mg) to help you get a good night's sleep.
Let me know if you try any of the above.
Loving you always,
